Harrison, Walker & Harper in Paris, TX is hiring an Accounting Representative. The starting pay rate is $21-$24 per hour, negotiable based on experience, with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule. You will process invoices, match to POs, and manage accounts payable and receivable tasks.

We seek a team player who is highly organized and proficient with Microsoft Office. Education requirements: High School Diploma or GED (Associates degree preferred) and 1–3 years related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience; Associates Degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a team, highly organized and productive.

Responsabilités

• Receives invoices for payment and matches invoices to POs and receiving documents.
• Reviews invoices weekly and selects invoices for payment according to terms or direction.
• Prepares accounts payable reports and maintains accounts payable files.
• Reconciles accounts payable to vendor statements.
• Contacts vendors regarding payment discrepancies or missing invoices.
• Processes recurring payments and ensures monthly invoicing is entered and AP closed timely.
