Job summary

SMW Autoblok Corporation in Wheeling, IL is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Coordinator to support our finance team. This role ensures accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, maintains vendor and customer relationships, and provides day-to-day accounting support including reception duties.

You will process invoices, reconcile statements, handle month-end close, issue invoices, monitor payments, apply receipts, and assist with audits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable roles.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close and reporting.
• Generate and send customer invoices and monitor payments.
• Apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Support collections efforts as needed.
• Provide receptionist and general administrative support.
• Back up AP/AR during absences and assist audits.
