Our client, a well-known financial services firm in New York, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its team. You will oversee and execute the AP process and ensure invoices flow accurately through the ERP system.

You will manage AP mail, verify invoices against contracts, obtain approvals, and facilitate payments via ACH, checks, and wires. A 2–5+ year background in AP and experience with Great Plains are preferred, along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of AP experience in financial services.
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP processes and controls.
• Experience with AP systems and ERP platforms.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and execute the Accounts Payable process.
• Maintain and improve AP system functionality.
• Manage AP mail and inboxes and ensure invoices are processed.
• Review invoices against service contracts for accuracy.
• Obtain internal approvals for invoices.
