This position is primarily responsible for performing accounts payable functions within the accounting department.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Process daily accounts payable invoices
• Process credit invoices against Return Goods Notice
• Reconcile paid not received and received not paid, aging, and credit card statements
• Maintain vendor files and vendor coding
• Adhere to month end close deadlines; and perform accounts payable month end closing and accrual preparation
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to independently meet frequent deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
• Intermediate knowledge with all Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Requirements

• Associate Degree in accounting or business
• Purchase order and/or inventory clearing experience

Other

• The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
