Job summary

The Arc of Greater Prince William / INSIGHT, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee high-volume AP processes, vendor setup, and monthly reconciliations. The role collaborates with CFO and program staff to ensure accurate, timely payments and strong internal controls.

Office-based with potential hybrid remote scheduling after the introductory period, located at the Woodbridge, VA main office. Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3+ years’ experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible accounting, accounts payable, billing, reconciliation, or related financial experience required.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting and multi-entity environments preferred.
• Experience assisting with financial audits and maintaining audit-ready documentation preferred.
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct and related financial systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor records, including W-9s, payment methods, billing information, and invoice approvals.
• Oversee accounts payable process with timely review, documentation, approval, and processing.
• Process payments to vendors and utility providers through established systems.
• Coordinate annual vendor reporting and 1099 information per IRS requirements.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor 135–140 monthly transactions.
• Prepare and process manual checks with proper documentation and approvals.
