Job summary

The Arc of Greater Prince William / INSIGHT, Inc. seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead AP activities, manage vendor records, and coordinate tax reporting. The role requires strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with the CFO and program staff.

The position is primarily office-based in Woodbridge, with potential for a hybrid remote schedule after completion of the introductory period. Salary ranges from $65,000–$70,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible accounting, accounts payable, billing, reconciliation, or related financial experience.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting and/or multi-entity environments preferred.
• Experience assisting with financial audits and maintaining audit-ready documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities and ensure timely processing.
• Oversee vendor records, W-9s, and 1099 reporting where applicable.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with CFO input.
• Prepare and process payments, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with program staff to research billing discrepancies and improve processes.
• Maintain confidential financial information and support internal controls.
