L+M Development Partners in New York seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to govern the AP function, implement policies, and drive automation using PayScan, AvidXchange, and approval workflows.

The role leads AP Supervisors and specialists, monitors KPIs, and collaborates with Corporate Accounting, procurement, and external auditors to ensure timely, accurate processing and strong controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• 3+ years of AP leadership experience
• Experience with workflow-based AP environments
• Strong Excel and reporting skills are required
• Experience with vendor governance and audit support
• Experience leading process-improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Govern AP policies and procedures and approve controls.
• Lead AP Supervisors and AP Operations Specialist
• Monitor KPI dashboards and aging reports
• Coordinate month-end AP close activities
• Oversee AP exception management and remediation
• Coordinate AP audit support and 1099 reporting
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, Property Management, and external auditors
