Job summary

The Addison Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager for a temp engagement in West Hollywood, CA, to oversee 750–800 invoices monthly, ensure timely payments, and guide the AP team through high-volume processing amid system integrations.

You will mentor staff, perform invoice-to-PO matching, review GL codes, manage vendor inquiries, support month-end close, and drive workflow improvements, leveraging NetSuite and advanced Excel to maintain accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience leading, training, or mentoring AP staff.
• Strong ERP experience; NetSuite highly preferred.
• Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Understanding of invoice processing, PO matching, and GL coding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 750–800 vendor invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Perform invoice-to-PO matching (2-way) and review GL and departmental coding.
• Manage AP inbox and serve as primary contact for vendor inquiries and payment discrepancies.
• Provide day-to-day direction, training, and quality reviews for AP staff.

Compensation:

$39–$45/hour

Position Overview:

A growing entertainment company is seeking an experienced AP Manager to oversee high-volume accounts payable operations and provide day-to-day guidance to the AP team. This role will support increased invoice volume resulting from recent system integrations, while helping maintain accuracy, improve workflows, and ensure timely processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and process approximately 750–800 vendor invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Perform invoice-to-PO matching, including 2-way matching, and review GL and departmental coding.
• Manage the AP inbox and serve as the primary contact for vendor inquiries and payment discrepancies.
• Provide day-to-day direction, training, and quality review for AP team members.
• Lead AP aging reviews, account clean-up, and month-end close support.
• Partner with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Identify process inefficiencies and help improve AP workflows, procedures, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience.
• Previous experience leading, training, or mentoring AP team members.
• Strong ERP experience; NetSuite highly preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.
