Job summary

firstPRO, Inc in West Chester, PA is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager for a hybrid role (1 day remote). You will lead a small AP team while remaining hands-on in daily operations and own the full AP cycle, including invoice processing, payments, aging and month-end close.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in AP with 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, experience with three-way matching, ERP systems, and global AP.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience managing an AP team in a hands-on capacity.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle AP, three‑way matching, payments & month‑end close.
• Experience with ERP systems; manufacturing/distribution experience preferred.
• Global AP experience.
• Strong Excel, communication, organization and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of AP professionals while remaining hands‑on in daily AP operations.
• Own the full AP cycle, including invoice processing, payments, aging and month‑end close.
• Serve as the primary system administrator.
• Manage workflows, supplier enablement, reporting and optimization.
• Resolve vendor issues, invoice disputes and escalations.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and IT on process improvements and system initiatives.
• Develop AP reporting, SOPs and internal controls.
• Support ERP integrations, system migrations and business growth.
