Job summary

CFS in Butler, PA is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function within a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on overseeing invoice processing, vendor payments, and internal controls to support our growth and financial objectives.

You will mentor a team, optimize processes, monitor AP metrics, and collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Purchasing, and Operations. A Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and at least five years of AP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of five years of progressive accounting or accounts payable experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience is required.
• Experience analyzing AP metrics and implementing process improvements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team.
• Manage daily AP operations, workload distribution, and performance.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and vendor payments.
• Monitor AP aging reports and resolve outstanding items.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Oversee AP automation tools and third-party integrations to improve efficiency.
• Develop and report on KPIs including Days Payable Outstanding, Early Payment Discounts, and Invoice Exception Rates.
• Conduct monthly reviews of outstanding liabilities and payment trends with finance leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, internal controls, and departmental efficiencies.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Purchasing, and Operations to support company initiatives.
