Job summary

Trinity Industries, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Manager of Accounts Payable to lead the AP function, oversee onshore staff and coordinate with offshore services.

The role focuses on end-to-end payments, month-end close, controls, and continuous process improvement. You will drive process automation and manage vendor master data, banking changes, and 1099/1042 compliance while partnering with Treasury and IT on system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive AP experience with 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience with end-to-end AP operations and vendor master management.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials or Oracle Fusion.
• Strong SOX controls and internal audit knowledge.
• Ability to manage month-end close under deadlines.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with process automation and AI tools in AP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AP operations, including invoice processing and payments.
• Oversee onshore and offshore AP staff, manage SLAs.
• Own SOX controls documentation and audits.
• Drive KPI reporting and analytics for AP metrics.
• Champion automation and RPA initiatives in AP.
• Coordinate with Treasury and IT for system issues.
