Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor invoices and payments. You will manage a team, enforce controls, and collaborate across Finance, Procurement, and other departments to support cash flow.

The role requires 5+ years in AP with supervisory experience, strong IFRS knowledge, and ERP/Excel proficiency. Hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are offered in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, AP best practices, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Excel.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and develop AP staff (invoice processors, payment specialists).
• Oversee end-to-end AP cycle: invoice receipt, coding, approval routing, and payment processing.
• Manage payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers) and ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time.
• Review and approve invoices above delegated authority thresholds.
• Design and enforce internal controls to prevent duplicate payments, fraud, and errors.
