Job summary

EMSL Analytical, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist III in Cinnaminson, NJ. The role will train and transition into leading a small AP team, overseeing daily operations and coordinating with senior staff on timelines.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in accounts payable, strong MS Office/Excel skills, and excellent communication. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits, Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Minimum of twenty years' experience in accounts payable.
• Strong MS Office experience including Excel data mining and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a high volume environment.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with self-motivation, adaptability and a positive attitude.
• Effective time management, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Oversee US and Canada accounts payable operations.
• Oversee daily processing of new vendor invoices and those paid by credit card.
• Oversee vendor payments via ACH, credit card, virtual card and checks.
• Reconcile all corporate credit card accounts.
• Collaborate with Collections on bank reconciliations and refunds.
• Assist Controller with month-end closing and AP accruals.
• Manage W-9 and certificate of insurance for vendors.
• Prepare year-end data for 1099 tax return generation.
