Job summary

EMSL is seeking an Accounting Specialist III in Cinnaminson, NJ. This role will train and transition into leading a team of 2.5 staff in Accounts Payable and oversee daily AP operations. The position will coordinate with Senior Accounting staff to maintain a holistic workflow.

The role requires a High School diploma, US work authorization, and 20+ years in accounts payable. Strong Excel/data mining and MS Office skills are essential for success in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee US and Canada accounts payable operations.
• Manage daily vendor invoice processing and card payments.
• Coordinate vendor payments via ACH, credit card, virtual card and checks.
• Reconcile corporate credit card accounts.
• Collaborate with Collections and Controller on month-end close and accruals.
• Manage W-9s, insurance certificates, and 1099 data.

EMSL is seeking anAccounting Specialist IIIinCinnaminson, NJ. This is a role that will train and transition into leading a team of a total of 2.5 staff members in the Accounts Payable Department and will oversee daily Accounts Payable operations. This position will oversee staff coordination and completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly tasks and will coordinate with Senior Accounting staff timelines as a holistic team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for both US and Canada accounts payable operations
• Oversee daily processing of new vendor invoices within purchasing system as well as those paid by credit card
• Oversee vendor payment processes such as vendors paid by ACH, credit card, virtual card and checks at regular intervals during the month
• Reconciliation of all corporate credit card accounts
• Work closely with Collections Department on bank reconciliation of all merchant accounts as well as processing of customer refunds
• Work with Controller on month end closing process, including generating month end Accounts Payable accrual
• W-9 and certificate of insurance management for vendors
• Year end data for 1099 tax return generation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Minimum of twenty years’ experience in accounts payable required
• Strong MS Office experience required including Excel data mining and analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a high volume environment
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with self-motivation, adaptability and a positive attitude
• Effective time management, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize

Available Shift

• Position is full-time Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Training shift to start will be Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
