Job summary

CFS seeks an Accounts Payable Lead in Independence, OH to oversee high-volume AP across 10-15 entities, reporting to the Controller. You will manage invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations while driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with accounting best practices.

The role requires strong Excel skills and ERP experience (Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics) to optimize payments and intercompany settlements within a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience supporting multiple legal entities, divisions, or business units.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems (Great Plains, MS Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of vendor invoices across multiple companies and business units.
• Review invoice approvals, coding, and supporting documentation.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues.
• Prepare and process weekly payments (checks and ACH).
• Manage intercompany transactions and respond to inquiries.
