Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Agoura Hills, CA seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage high-volume vendor invoicing, three-way matching, and vendor inquiries in a fast-paced, inventory-based environment. You will support month-end close, maintain vendor records, and prepare payment batches (ACH, wires, and checks), while ensuring accurate coding and compliance.

This role offers collaboration across Purchasing, Receiving, Operations, and Finance and opportunities for process

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience processing high-volume AP invoices.
• Three-way matching experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with AP aging, AP-to-GL reconciliations, and month-end close support.
• Associate degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Admin or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Perform three-way matching of POs, receiving records, and invoices; research pricing and discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor master records, W-9s, banking details, and reconciliations; follow fraud-prevention procedures.
• Prepare weekly payment proposals and batches (ACH, wires, checks).
• Support month-end close by reviewing AP aging and preparing schedules.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, Operations, Finance to resolve invoice holds and inquiries.
