Job summary

ARDEX Americas is hiring an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP function at the Center Township corporate headquarters in Center Township, PA. The role focuses on timely invoice processing, staff supervision, and maintaining strong internal controls.

You will partner with Purchasing, Logistics, and Operations to resolve discrepancies, manage payments, and support financial reporting and month-end close.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of accounting experience, supervisory experience preferred.
• Understanding of general accounting functions.
• Familiarity with SAP and/or other integrated accounting systems; PO/inventory forms or external report data.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounts payable functions, ensuring invoices are reviewed, approved, and processed promptly.
• Supervise and mentor Accounts Payable staff; promote accountability and teamwork.
• Ensure AP processes meet internal policies and external audit requirements.
• Manage weekly freight and parcel billing; reconcile credit card transactions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, Operations, and vendors to resolve invoice issues.
• Oversee weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wires) and maintain vendor relationships.
• Support costing, pricing, and spend analysis with data, docs, and reporting insights.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and prepare journal entries.
• Assist with month-end close and financial statement analysis.
• Provide backup for vendor setup, AP correspondence, AR functions, and cash receipt postings.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
