ARDEX is immediately hiring for an Accounts PayableSupervisor to join our team at our corporate headquarterslocated at 400 Ardex Park Drive, Center Township, PA 15001.
We are seeking an experienced and results-drivenAccounts Payable Supervisor to lead and supportour accounts payable functions in a fast-paced, team-orientedenvironment. This role is ideal for a hands-on accountingprofessional who enjoys leading people, solving problems, improvingprocesses, and building strong partnerships across the business.
What You will Do
- Lead the day-to-day accounts payable functions, ensuringvendor invoices are accurately reviewed, approved, and processedin a timely manner.
- Supervise, mentor, and support Accounts Payable staff,fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure AP processes and controls meet internal policies andexternal audit requirements, maintaining the highest standards offinancial integrity and compliance.
- Manage weekly freight and parcel billing activities, analyzingdata from multiple online platforms and reconciling associatedcredit card transactions.
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Operations,and vendors to quickly resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Oversee the preparation and execution of weekly payment runs,including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers, whilemaintaining positive vendor relationships through effective communication.
- Support costing, pricing, and spend analysis initiatives byproviding financial data, system documentation, and reportinginsights that assist business decision-making.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigatediscrepancies, prepare journal entries, and ensure accuratefinancial reporting.
- Contribute to the preparation and analysis of financialstatements, management reports, and month-end closing activities.
- Serve as a key resource across the accounting team, providingbackup support for vendor setup, AP correspondence, accountsreceivable functions, and cash receipt posting as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhanceefficiency, strengthen controls, and support the continued growthof the organization.
Experience and Skills:
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 (two) years accounting experience, supervisoryexperience preferred
- Understanding of general accounting functions.
- Suggested familiarity with SAP and/or another integratedaccounting system, purchase order & inventory forms, or systemenhanced external database reports.
- Digital skills to utilize Word, Outlook, Microsoft 365 Suite,and preferred expert skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) tocreate spreadsheets and analyze data.
- Good communication, judgment, listening, analytical and strongproblem-solving skills.
- Leadership experience preferred, but not required
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships within thedepartment and across multiple business functions.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred but not required
