Job summary

SONS' INDIA SOFTWARE PVT. LTD. in Thomasville, GA is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to support the Finance team with AP duties and general accounting tasks.

You will assist with billing, reconcile accounts to the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and aid month-end processes. Strong Excel and Word skills, plus clear communication with internal and external customers, are essential. This role is on-site in Thomasville, GA.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year accounting experience preferred in local government, public or private industry.
• Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
• Must possess good oral/written communication skills.
• Must possess the ability to prepare and maintain various reports, as required or assigned.
• Must have ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Accounts Payable with AP duties and acts as the backup for AP when necessary.
• Assist with General billing and/or General billing adjustments.
• Assist with reconciling accounts receivables and accounts payables to the general ledger on a monthly basis; completes journal entries or cash receipts adjustments for necessary corrections.
• Assist with accounting month-end process (updating journal entries, reconciling accounts, and completing reports).
• Assist with reports for auditors during audit.
• Other duties as assigned.
