Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking an Accounting Specialist to process and validate data daily, review vendor statements for accuracy, and ensure timely payments for Big O Tires locations. The role includes reconciling daily AP/AR/GL data and communicating with field personnel to resolve errors and provide support.

The position requires strong accounting experience, knowledge of automated systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of strong accounting experience.
• Knowledge of automated accounting systems and processes.
• Computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Import daily General Ledger and Accounts Receivable files into accounting software.
• Validate postings and resolve errors in Great Plains.
• Respond to calls and emails to provide documents and resolve discrepancies.
• Receive and apply customer payments accurately and timely.
• Maintain electronic files of reports and invoices.
