Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking an Accounts Payable leader to manage staff and streamline invoice processing. You will ensure timely vendor payments, accurate coding, and PO matching while driving process improvements with Lawson ERP.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in AP, and 2+ years of supervisory experience, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of 1099 requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Education or related field or equivalent work experience – required.
• Five years of accounts payable experience in a computerized environment – preferred.
• Two years of supervisor experience – required.
• Knowledge of accounts payable processing and 1099 tax requirements.
• Intermediate level spreadsheet experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable functions and staff processing invoices.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and accurate coding and PO matching.
• Supervise AP processing to ensure proper authorization and payments.
• Enter vendor data in Lawson for year-end 1099 reporting.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly payments on company purchasing card accounts.
• Develop and implement automation and new programs for payables.
