Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our AP team in Idaho Falls. You will verify invoices, process payments, reconcile vendor statements, and support month-end close while ensuring compliance with FAR and internal controls.

The role requires a High School diploma with related AP experience; Level 2 or Level 3 placement based on depth of experience. We offer a 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off and a supportive, security-minded work environment.

Qualifications

• Understand the invoice payment cycle and AP terminology.
• Knowledge of government procurement regulations (FAR).
• Familiar with month-end close, audits and ERP upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Validate and process vendor invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and FAR requirements.
• Execute payment batches across multiple disbursement methods with full GL documentation.
• Serve as primary contact for vendor inquiries and disputes, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• Support month-end/year-end close, internal and external audits, and ERP upgrades, while recommending process improvements.
