**This is a hybrid position, and candidates are required to work onsite and remotely throughout the week**

The Accounts Payable Coordinator will utilize their knowledge and administrative skills to help the finance department and assist with day-to-day clerical services.

Job Duties:

  • Codes items as invoices, expense reports, check requests, etc., with correct accounts to ensure proper entry into the financial system in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Handles vendor correspondence via phone or email.
  • Investigates and resolves issues associated with processing of vendor invoices.
  • Prepares batch check runs.
  • Receives, researches, and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
  • Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records, and reports.
  • Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.
  • Performs other duties as required to support the Accounting Department and firm operations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of law firm experience preferred, or equivalent education in an accounting related field.
  • The right candidate will need to deliver consistent, high-quality support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, time management, a strong working knowledge of Excel, and the ability to work within a team are critical to being successful in this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of attorneys and staff.
  • Profound understanding of basic principles of accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow up on numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as work independently.
  • Knowledge of Coyote, Chrome River, or similar expense processing platforms is a plus.
  • Must have reliable internet connection and be able to troubleshoot technology issues.

Target Hiring Range: $50,000 - $65,000

Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific offer. Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate’s experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. Base salary represents just one component of the comprehensive Total Rewards package offered by Kaufman Dolowich, which also includes a discretionary bonus program and a robust benefits offering for full-time employees.
