This role is central to keeping our vendor relationships strong, our books balanced, and our month-end process smooth. You will manage vendor invoices, payment runs, AP close tasks, 1099 prep, and GAAP compliance while collaborating with internal teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience specifically in Accounts Payable, ideally within a product-based or wholesale company.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial close processes.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Navision, Ramp, Databricks, or Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring correct coding and approvals.
• Manage weekly payment runs via check, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Maintain and update vendor records, W-9s, and payment terms.
• Handle month-end AP close tasks: accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Assist with 1099 prep and annual tax compliance.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth PO matching and receiving processes.
• Maintain General Ledger accuracy related to AP accounts.
• Support year-end audits with clean, organized documentation.
• Stay current on accounting policies, GAAP updates, and tax regs that affect AP.
