Job summary

Rizzetta & Company Inc in Tampa, FL is seeking an Accounting Clerk to perform all accounts payable duties for a portfolio of Community Development Districts. The role also provides clerical support to Senior Staff Accountants and Staff Accountants.

Responsibilities include processing vendor invoices, coding to the general ledger, maintaining W-9 logs, preparing monthly board packs, and assisting with 1099-MISC forms.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of collections and accounts payable.
• Knowledge and application of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct and AvidXchange software is preferred.
• Preferred – 3 years accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Enter vendor invoices including coding to the GL and attaching copies to vendor ledgers.
• Maintain W-9 logs and file them in a designated location.
• Prepare monthly board packages of invoices paid in AvidXchange and Adobe Acrobat.
• Assist with processing of 1099-MISC forms in accordance with DOR requirements.
• Handle vendor inquiries, research discrepancies, and resolve issues.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
