You will process invoices, handle payments, and maintain accurate records to support month-end close, while upholding internal controls and compliance.

This full-time role begins with standard business hours, with occasional extended periods during busy accounting cycles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software (JD Edwards, Viewpoint, QuickBooks).
• Familiarity with job cost accounting and cost code allocation.
• Basic understanding of invoice matching, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices: Match, verify, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
• Handle payments: Prepare and process checks, ACH, or wire transfers.
• Manage vendors: Maintain vendor records and respond to payment inquiries.
• Reconcile accounts: Ensure AP ledger accuracy and support month-end close.
• Maintain records: File invoices and payment documentation for audit readiness.
• Ensure compliance: Follow internal policies and financial controls.
• Office-based role in a professional business environment using standard office equipment.
• Full-time, Monday through Friday, standard business hours; occasional extended hours during critical accounting periods.
• Must handle confidential financial and employee information with integrity and discretion.
• Must meet deadlines consistently while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company policies.
