You will process invoices, handle payments, and maintain accurate records to support month-end close, while upholding internal controls and compliance.

This full-time role begins with standard business hours, with occasional extended periods during busy accounting cycles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software (JD Edwards, Viewpoint, QuickBooks).
• Familiarity with job cost accounting and cost code allocation.
• Basic understanding of invoice matching, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

• Office-based role in a professional business environment using standard office equipment.
• Full-time, Monday through Friday, standard business hours; occasional extended hours during critical accounting periods.
• Must handle confidential financial and employee information with integrity and discretion.
• Must meet deadlines consistently while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company policies.

About this Role

Flare Construction is hiring for an entry level Accounts Payable Clerk. The AP Clerk is responsible for processing vendor invoices, handling payments, and maintaining accurate financial records to support month-end close activities. This role ensures compliance with internal controls and financial policies while providing timely and professional support to vendors and internal teams. This position is in the Coalville, Utah Office.
