Bill Dodge Auto Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing accounting team in Maine. This role focuses on processing invoices, POs, and vendor payments with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has prior accounting or GL experience; automotive accounting is a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth; this is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Previous accounting or finance experience required.
• Verifiable General Ledger accounting experience required.
• Strong data entry and 10-key skills preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and information.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, purchase orders and company credit card transactions daily.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements for accurate and timely payments.
• Process vendor payments via traditional payment methods along with online payment portals and ACH.
• Maintain accounts payable accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
• Review and reconcile accounting schedules for accuracy.
• Perform General Ledger accounting functions, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support management and other team members with accounting-related tasks.

Bill Dodge Auto Group is a family-owned automotive group, proudly serving our communities for over 50 years. We are seeking an experiencedAccounts Payable Clerk to join our growing accounting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with General Ledger accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and supporting a fast-paced business. While automotive accounting experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Compensation: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

• Process invoices, purchase orders and company credit card transactions daily
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements for accurate and timely payments
• Process vendor payments via traditional payment methods along with online payment portals and ACH
• Maintain accounts payable accounting schedules and supporting documentation
• Review and reconcile accounting schedules for accuracy
• Perform General Ledger accounting functions, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Support management and other team members with accounting-related tasks

What We're Looking For
