We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, professional, and trustworthy Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is highly organized and capable of managing sensitive financial information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable (AP) transactions including invoice data entry and manual check requests
• Analyze invoices to ensure pricing and quantity match purchase orders and receipts
• Coordinate with purchasing to resolve invoice/PO discrepancies
• Maintain electronic and physical files for EFT and payables invoices
• Process AP checks to ensure timely payments
• Review, track, and process credit memos
• Update and maintain accurate vendor records
• Reconcile vendor account statements
• Assist with developing and maintaining AP process documentation
• Provide backup support for other areas within the Accounting Department
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2-3 years of related experience in accounts payable or accounting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment
• Familiarity with AS400 software is a plus, but not required
