Job summary

Ontic, a leading global aerospace OEM, is seeking an Accounting Associate (AP) for our Creedmoor, NC site. This onsite role reports to the Controller and supports accounts payable processes in a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (associate or bachelor in accounting/finance preferred) and 2+ years of AP experience, with attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in SAP Concur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
• Process employee expenses via SAP Concur.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable files and records.
• Assist with month-end closing and audit preparation.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues.
