The position emphasizes timely entries, discrepancy resolution, and strong internal controls. A high school diploma is required, with 1–3 years of AP experience and ERP/Excel skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of accounts payable or accounting support experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounts payable processes and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of invoice processing accuracy by ensuring timely and accurate entry of vendor invoices.
• Perform invoice matching against purchase orders and receipts to verify accuracy.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between invoices, receipts, and purchase orders.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding items.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts payable transactions.
• Support audit requests by providing required documentation and information.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve invoice processing workflows.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed.
• Maintain organized records and support reporting requirements.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and issues.
• Support collaboration across finance and operational departments.
