Job summary

The Anderson Automotive Group is hiring for an entry-level Accounts Payable role at our corporate location in Raleigh, NC. This on-site position supports vendor invoicing, PO posting, and month-end tasks. Automotive accounting experience is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
Ability to coordinate multiple activities with strong organizational and time management skills.
Respond to vendor inquiries and post PO/invoice data to the GL.
Maintain W-9 information and 1099 reporting; review vendor statements.

Responsibilities

Post approved purchase orders and invoices to general ledger accounts.
Sort, code, review, and verify vendor invoices in a fast-paced environment.
Print and mail checks to vendors per payment terms; maintain paid invoice files.
Reconcile vendor statements and pay balances owed within terms.
Assist in month-end closing tasks and resolve invoice discrepancies.
