Job summary

Anderson Automotive Group in Raleigh, NC is hiring for an entry-level Accounts Payable position at our corporate location off Glenwood Ave. This on-site role supports our AP team with vendor invoices, PO posting, and month-end tasks; automotive experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to coordinate various activities simultaneously, excellent organizational and time management skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Respond to all vendor inquiries.
• Post approved purchase orders and invoices to general ledger accounts.
• Sort, code, review, and verify vendor invoices in a fast-paced environment.
• Print and mail checks to vendors according to payment terms and maintain paid invoice files.
• Review and maintain accounting schedules.
• Maintain W-9 information and annual 1099 reporting.
• Reconcile vendor statements and pay balances owed within agreed credit terms.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Assist in month-end closing tasks as assigned.
• All other tasks/projects as assigned.
• Automotive experience preferred.

What we are looking for:
