Job summary

Select Medical is seeking an entry-level Accounts Payable Representative to process third-party vendor invoices and payments in our AP system. This role handles clerical duties and maintains AP transactions for accuracy and timeliness on-site at Mechanicsburg, PA.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration with teams, and adherence to procedures while supporting special projects as requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• PC knowledge: Excel, Outlook and Word; experience with accounting software.
• Basic Math Skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess a sense of urgency.
• Preferred: experience in multi-subsidiary operating structure.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of invoices with proper G/L coding and approvals.
• Enter payable data into Oracle via Markview and KTM.
• Code invoices using Chart of Accounts and seek help when needed.
• Ensure documentation for Request for Payments is complete.
• Audit invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare checks for mailing per policy.
• Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies.
• Assist with vendor maintenance and W-9 collection as needed.
• Support special projects and other duties.
