The position provides direct support to the Accounts Payable manager by processing vendor invoices and answering payment inquiries.

  • Collaboration & Communication– Able to effectually communicate verbally and in writing with internal clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Prioritizing -Operate in a fast-paced environment effectively managing competing priorities and responsibilities to meet critical deadlines.


Responsibilities:

  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation, general ledger coding and approval.
  • Make payments directly to vendors using a virtual credit card program.
  • Respond to all vendor payment inquiries.
  • Assist in month/year end close.
  • Manage utility trackers and pull invoice documents from online portals for payment processing.
  • Match invoices to checks and distribute checks accordingly.
  • Open and distribute all AP mail received in-office.
  • Manage group AP electronic mailbox.
  • Look into open payments and outstanding balances on invoices.
  • Provide guidance to branch and back-office employees on any AP related inquiries.
  • Aid in 1099 maintenance and year-end processing.

What you have:

  • 0-2 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred.
  • Bachelor'sdegree required, college courses in accounting preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Acumatica, Chrome River Expense/Invoice experience a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem- solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high- volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.


Position is hybrid with the need to be in the office in Philadelphia 2-3 days per week. Why work for us?
