Job summary

ABC Supply in Beloit, WI, is seeking a Trade Payables Clerk to manage vendor invoices, verify them against purchase orders, and resolve variances in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

You will develop and maintain vendor relationships, monitor statements, respond to inquiries, and support accurate accounts payable processing to help keep our supply chain running smoothly.

This role offers growth through cross-functional collaboration and exposure to corporate payables best practices.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience reconciling inventory payables.
• Experience reconciling vendor statements.
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders to obtain approval.
• Identify and resolve variances between PO and invoice.
• Collaborate with vendors and branches to correct errors.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement preventive processes.
• Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries.
• Monitor accounts payable queues to ensure timely processing.

The Trade Payables team is responsible for the proper statement of inventory and the timely and accurate payment of invoices related to resale inventory.Job description:Process vendor invoices with accuracy.Verify vendor invoices to purchase orders to obtain appropriate payment approval.Identify and reconcile any variances between the purchase order and vendor invoice.Collaborate with vendors and branch associates to correct invoicing and receiving errors.Investigating discrepancies to determine root cause and implementing processes to prevent reoccurring issuesEnsure proper communication of outstanding AP items are communicated and elevated as needed.Developing and maintaining vendor relationships.
