HOTWORX Franchising, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist in Marrero, LA for a hybrid role within our Accounting & Finance team. The position offers growth within a rapidly scaling fitness brand and opportunities to work with cross-functional teams.

You will process invoices, manage payments, maintain vendor records, and support month-end close and audits in a fast-paced environment. A background in accounting and proficiency with AP processes are essential.

Formación

• 2+ years AP or accounting experience required.
• Experience in multi-location/franchise environments a plus.
• Proficient with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

Responsabilidades

• Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts.
• Respond to vendor inquiries.
• Prepare weekly payment runs (check, ACH, wire).
• Maintain up-to-date vendor records (W-9s, 1099).
• Support month-end close and AP reconciliations.
• Collaborate with corporate teams to resolve AP issues.
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation.

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and wants to grow with a company that's making waves in the fitness industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and ensure all payments are timely and accurate
• Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts
• Monitor and respond to vendor inquiries
• Prepare weekly payment runs (check, ACH, wire)
• Maintain up-to-date vendor records including W-9s and 1099 compliance
• Support month-end close and AP reconciliations
• Collaborate with corporate teams to resolve any AP issues
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of AP or general accounting experience
• Experience in a multi-location/franchise environment is a plus
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage X3, or similar)
• Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• A proactive, team‑player mindset with great communication skills
