Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an Accounting team member to ensure financial accuracy, timely payments, and smooth vendor relationships supporting hotel operations. The role focuses on processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining vendor communications.

The ideal candidate has basic bookkeeping knowledge, experience with A/R/A/P, PMS/POS systems, and strong customer service. A High School Diploma is required. Hotel industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Familiarity with PMS and POS systems and card processing.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and pay invoices accurately and on time.
• Reconcile AP vendor statements and maintain up-to-date records.
• Perform chargebacks and credit card reconciliations to minimize losses.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors and resolve billing issues.

As part of our Accounting team, you will play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, timely payments, and smooth vendor relationships that support hotel operations.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure all invoices are paid on time and accurately, and bill Accounts Receivable invoices timely and accurately.
• Reconcile and research Accounts Payable vendor statements and keep them up to date.
• Complete chargebacks and credit card reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner to minimize losses.
• Maintain productive relationships with external vendors to resolve billing issues.

What You’ll Bring

• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, filing systems, and accounting operations, including accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P).
• Skilled in numbers, billing, and balancing, with experience in PMS & POS systems, as well as credit card processing systems.
• Excellent customer service skills – promptly responding to billing questions and de-escalating heightened questions and scenarios.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Hotel experience and A/P & A/R experience are a plus.
