Job summary

White Lodging develops and operates a portfolio of award-winning, premium-brand hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants. The Cluster Accounting Manager will lead day-to-day financial operations for a group of properties, ensuring accurate reporting, internal controls, and alignment with strategic goals.

This role oversees AP/AR and cash control across multiple hotels, collaborates with hotel leaders on budgets and forecasts, and mentors the accounting team to strengthen controls and data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum two years of hotel accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and hospitality operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash control functions for multiple hotels.
• Ensure GAAP, USALI, and all applicable White Lodging policies and standards.
• Provide financial insight and counsel to hotel department heads, supporting data-driven decisions.
• Assist in developing and reviewing annual budgets and forecasts while identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency.
• Generate accurate, timely financial reports and share key insights with hotel leadership.
• Maintain a strong control environment to safeguard assets and mitigate business risks.
• Lead and mentor accounting team members, supporting their professional development.
• Monitor audit findings, implement corrective actions, and ensure system data accuracy.
• Stay current on tax compliance, licensing, permits, and vendor agreements.

What You’ll Bring

• Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence operational teams.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Comfort with hotel systems (PMS, POS) and intermediate Excel and reporting software skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities.
