Job summary

Syntax Talent Solutions in Miami seeks an AP Analyst to own end-to-end accounts payable processes, from vendor setup to payments, while partnering with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to resolve issues. You will support cash flow management and help modernize AP operations with process improvements.

This role requires strong attention to detail, multi-entity experience, and hands-on AP/ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end AP processing and vendor management.
• Strong understanding of AP accounting, accruals and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting month-end close and reporting.
• Proficiency with AP/ERP systems and intermediate Excel.

Responsibilities

• Set up new vendors and maintain vendor master data.
• Process invoices/POs with proper coding and approvals.
• Review invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process vendor payments (ACH, wires, checks).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve AP issues.
• Assist month-end close with journals and reconciliations.
• Prepare AP aging reports and analyze payment trends.
• Support audits and internal controls improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and leverage AI automation.
