Colliers Engineering & Design in Holmdel, NJ is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to process provider payments and related tasks. You will ensure accurate coding, documentation, and approvals in line with company policies.

This role offers growth, teamwork with experienced professionals, and opportunities to contribute to month-end close, audits, and vendor records management, including W-9s and 1099s.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferred.
• Detail and deadline-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and payment requests with accurate coding and approvals.
• Prepare and process vendor payments including checks and electronic payments.
• Support AP payment runs by reviewing, matching, and reconciling invoices.
• Respond to inquiries regarding invoice status and vendor activity.
• Maintain vendor records including W-9 documentation and tax info.
• Assist with month-end activities and year-end reporting as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and controls.
