Oliver James is seeking a seasoned accounting advisory professional with deep public accounting roots to join our client’s expanding Deals/FDD/TAS and Advisory practice in Houston. Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters preferred.
• CPA certification preferred – will accept those in process
• 4+ years of experience within Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD within a Public Accounting firm (Big 4/Top 10 preferred)
• Experience with large Public filers (Audit/Assurance) & High Value Transactions (Deals/FDD)
• High degree of professionalism, ability to communicate with C-Suite level individuals.
• Self-starter, ability to thrive as an Individual Contributor or in a team-based environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing technological environments (AI, RPA etc.)
