Job summary

Oliver James, a large advisory firm, seeks an experienced CPA with a strong public accounting background to join their accounting and transaction advisory practice.

The role involves working on audits, deals and FDD, communicating with C-suite executives, and contributing to high-value transactions while embracing new technologies such as AI and RPA.

Candidates should have 4+ years in audit/advisory, a relevant degree, and be capable of independent or team work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters preferred.
• CPA certification preferred or in progress.
• 4+ years of experience in Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD at a Public Accounting firm (Big 4/Top 10 preferred).
• Experience with large, public filers and high-value transactions (Deals/FDD).
• Professional communicator able to interact with C-suite leaders.
• Self-starter who can work independently or in teams.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB and SEC/ASC rules.
• Adaptable to evolving technology (AI, RPA, etc).

Skills, Knowledge And Qualifications

• Experience with large, Public filers (Audit/Assurance) & High Value Transactions (Deals/FDD)
• High degree of professionalism required- including the ability to communicate with C-Suite level individuals.
• Self starter, who can thrive as an Individual Contributor, or in a team-based environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing technological environments (AI, RPA etc.)
