Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a hands-on Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations in Hope, AR, reporting to the Controller. You will lead the accounting staff, manage the monthly close, oversee inventory reconciliations, and support payroll, audits, and tax reporting.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, have 2+ years of accounting experience with direct reports, and demonstrate strong financial reporting, attention to detail, and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• At least 2+ years of accounting experience with direct reports.
• Strong financial reporting skills and deadline orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to travel as needed.
• CPA/CMA license or eligibility preferred.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, answer technical questions, and guide daily workflow.
• Prepare and review journal entries, conduct inventory counts/reconciliations, and generate month-end reports.
• Prepare sales and use tax returns, enforce internal controls, and maintain data confidentiality.
• Analyze financial options, assist with corporate accounting initiatives, and lead special projects.
