Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a hands-on Accounting Supervisor to lead daily accounting operations and partner with the Controller. You will supervise staff, manage month-end close, oversee inventory reconciliations, and support payroll, audits, and tax reporting.

Key duties include team leadership, accurate journal entries, inventory counts, tax returns, internal controls, and driving process improvements across the accounting function. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required or equivalent.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with direct reports.
• Proven financial reporting skills, detail orientation, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, answer technical questions, and guide daily workflow.
• Prepare and review journal entries, conduct inventory counts/reconciliations, and generate month-end reports.
• Prepare sales & use tax returns, enforce internal controls, and maintain data confidentiality.
• Analyze financial options, assist with corporate accounting initiatives, and lead special projects.
