Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Hope, AR is seeking an hands-on Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations, lead the accounting staff, and partner with the Controller.

You will manage the month-end close, oversee inventory reconciliations, support payroll, audits, and tax reporting, and drive process improvements to strengthen controls.

This on-site role requires a Bachelor's in accounting, 2+ years of experience with direct reports, and strong communication; willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with direct reports.
• Proven financial reporting skills, detail orientation, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise staff, answer technical questions, and guide daily workflow.
• Financial Close: Prepare and review journal entries, conduct inventory counts/reconciliations, and generate month-end reports.
• Tax & Compliance: Prepare sales & use tax returns, enforce internal controls, and maintain strict data confidentiality.
• Process Improvement: Analyze financial options, assist with corporate accounting initiatives, and lead special projects.
