Job summary

Jobot seeks an Accounting Supervisor to own AP/AR operations, oversee month-end close, and drive process improvements in a fast-growing manufacturing setting. You’ll supervise a team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and partner with cross-functional teams at a Whitehall facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or multi-entity environments.
• Strong hands-on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and accrual-based accounting, including revenue recognition and period-end accruals.
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Experience with SAP or comparable ERP platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain up-to-date accounting documentation and ensure processes are clearly defined.
• Supervise daily AP and AR activities with accurate invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Serve as primary escalation point for AP/AR, providing hands-on guidance.
• Monitor AP operations and provide backup support to ensure timely processing.
• Review and post journal entries ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Handle payroll, fixed assets, and inventory accounting as needed.
• Support month-end close and ad hoc financial analyses for management.
• Assist internal and external audits with documentation and responses.
• Supervise AP/AR workloads and train team members.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Procurement to align financial processes.
