Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a seasoned Cost Accountant/Accounting Manager for a manufacturing environment. You will manage GL, cost accounting, month-end close, inventory analysis and provide management reporting and KPI tracking.

Strong GAAP knowledge and leadership are essential as you partner with the Controller. The role emphasizes cost control, process improvements, and accurate financial reporting, with a focus on inventory and fixed assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience within manufacturing.
• 5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Strong inventory accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and complex data analysis.

Responsibilities

• General ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
