Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to lead and support our accounting team, with a focus on managing grower-related financial activities. This role is responsible for overseeing grower settlements, contract administration, payable account management, and the development of key financial reports.

Location: Ridley Park, PA

Pay: $95,000 to $105,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the grower settlement team and oversee the grower accounting process.
• Administer and monitor grower contracts and ensure compliance throughout the lifecycle.
• Review and reconcile grower payable accounts and ensure timely settlements.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting and period-end results.
• Prepare cash flow budgets and forecasts including grower advances and settlements.
• Establish and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools to analyze grower profitability and balance sheet liabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Sourcing, Sales, and Operations on grower-related matters.
• Improve existing reports and create standard reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise accounting personnel, fostering team development and performance.
• Support system implementations and drive continuous process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant accounting experience; prior supervisory experience required.
• Experience in the agriculture industry is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Famous, JD Edwards, HP, or Mainframe preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
