Job summary

This hands-on role reports to the Owner/CEO and collaborates with orders and shipping to ensure accurate information flow, timely month-end close, and reliable financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with Odyssey ERP is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records and transactions.
• Support the month-end/EOM close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Assist with cash management, account reconciliations, and general accounting analysis.
• Process customer invoices, payments, vendor invoices, and related documentation.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Work closely with the Owner/CEO on accounting, financial, and administrative matters.
• Partner with the employee responsible for orders and shipping documentation/processes to ensure accurate flow of information between operations and accounting.
• Help maintain proper documentation and internal accounting processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, reporting, and overall efficiency.
• Provide general accounting support and reporting as needed.

Accounting Supervisor

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee day-to-day accounting activities and support the company’s financial operations. Reporting directly to the Owner/CEO, this position will be a hands-on accounting role responsible for maintaining accurate financial records while supporting month-end close and working closely with the team responsible for orders and shipping processes.
